Transitional 17th century Chinese porcelain bowl of octagonal shape. Painted with nine compartments on the outside with different landscape scenes in typical painting style. The inside complete with a landscape scene. This unusual and rare bowl was probably used for the tea ceremony in China then later in Japan.
Condition
Two faint lines from the rim, one chip to rim and some fritting. The base rim has 1 chip. Size 112x63mm.
