Celadon-glazed jar with a squat baluster sides carved with a band vertical lines around the shoulder and the foot, divided by concentric bands, the short flared neck with a pair of loop handles, covered all over in a pale-green crackle suffused glaze
Provenance: formerly in the collection of G R A Murray, Exhibited at the National Gallery of South Africa, Cape Town, Chinese Exhibition, 1953, no.115.
Condition report: Commensurate with age, with several old foot rim chips and oxidisation/staining to glaze throughout.
